El Paso Courthouse

After several months of planning and preparation, in July 2010 we successfully moved the District and Magistrate Judges and staff, and District Clerks from the old courthouse to the new U.S. Courthouse in El Paso, TX.  This was a move of approximately 70 people and over 40,000 s.f. of furnishings, boxes and equipment.  Cera and Steve spent several days in El Paso coordinating truck loading/unloading, furniture placement, and team communication.  Between MBA, the Courts, and Seaton, we had an excellent team and the move went very well.

Office Clean-up

Over the past few months our office has gone through a major clean out.  Cera has headed up the colossal task of purging and organizing everything from random hardware to 22+ years of drawings and files.  Cera not only has dealt with most of the clean out single handedly by has also ensured that all of the items that we have purged have been disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.  Paper has been sorted and recycled, items have been taken to Goodwill, and our excess finishes have been recycled into art thanks to our friends at Chroma Studio. We appreciate her efforts in bring the “creative chaos” back to a more manageable state.
